Drexel ASME Drexel ASME is a website for the Drexel University American Society of Mechanical Engineers designed and created by web designer Jesse Mauro. The site was created entirely in Flash. When designing this site, the concept was derived from the content on a blueprint. A custom preloader was designed as a clickable image to begin the site once it's loaded. Screen shots of these can be found on this page. There is also an intro animation to the site, which features several pencils that draw out parts of the site. The ASME logo, which is the Drexel Dragon with a gear around it, is animated as well. The visual site is continuous with the blueprint design. Attention to detail provides an insight to the level of work and dedication met with this site. The site features information about the Officers, a Photo Gallery, Joining Information, and more.
